🍅 Market day in Bérat, Sainte-Foy-de-Peyrolières and Lherm, a great opportunity to stroll through these beautiful villages and discover our local produce.
Why not take the opportunity to prepare a local picnic? 🥙
You can enjoy it on the tranquil shores of one of the many lakes and, after regaining your strength, enjoy a pleasant stroll in a natural environment ideal for recharging your batteries 🔅 .
🐟 If you choose the Lac de Lahage, walkers looking for panoramic views of the Gers hillsides and the Pyrenees can take the Moulin à Forgues trail for a two-hour loop.

Taking a break at Lac de Parayre in Sainte-Foy-de-Peyrolières, explore the trails that wind along its shores. The more motivated can opt for a 2hr 45min loop.
Finally, if you’ve opted for the Savères lake, we recommend the pretty short walk around the lake, a pleasant 1h15 walk for all the family 👨👨👦👦. Between countryside and wooded areas, this walk will also allow you to discover the typical heritage of the village 🏰.

To kick off this beautiful week, we suggest you set off in the footsteps of our forebears by discovering the “Cap al campestre” folk art and traditions museum in Lherm . The museum’s collection features a wide range of items, from household objects to craft tools 🔨 giving visitors a better understanding of the daily life, work, leisure activities and interaction with the environment of the people of yesteryear. Afterwards, take the opportunity to visit Lherm, including its two listed historic monuments. Here you can consult our dedicated guide to the village of Lherm.
In the afternoon, ➡️direction Poucharramet. We continue our journey back in time and invite you to discover the Musée du Huchier, an authentic workshop-museum belonging to a master cabinet-maker. Consult our short guide to Poucharramet, available from our tourist information offices (Martres-Tolosane, Rieumes, Cazères), to discover the wealth of the village’s heritage.

Get your hiking boots and camera ready! Head for ➡️ Le Fousseret!
Here you can admire the imposing church of Saint-Pierre, with its southern Gothic style typical of the Toulouse region. The town is an ideal place for a stroll, whether you start at the church or the market hall. If you follow the Chemin de Ronde to the Promenade du Picon, you can relax in the shade and enjoy an open-air lunch with a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees 🌄.
If you haven’t planned anything to eat, don’t worry, Wednesday is market day, and it will be held under the covered market! With caterers, small producers, restaurants and guinguettes, there’s plenty to choose from! For rugby fans, head to the Auberge to admire a real collection of rugby shirts 🏈
🌿After a bite to eat, set off to discover nature and its biodiversity between the Nère and La Louge valleys. We propose a pleasant 2h30 hike accessible to all, offering 360° views of the Pyrenees. It’s an opportunity to discover the hedged farmland and its species, as well as the typical village of Francon. For the little ones, pony rides can also be organised.

We’ll take you to Rieumes, to discover its covered market, typical houses, open-air market and Notre Dame de l’Ormette chapel. In the forest of Rieumes, those in the mood for fun can discover the Tépacap adventure park and its many activities. 👨👩👧👧les families can also enjoy a lovely day out among the animals at the Ferme du Paradis.
Horse lovers will find plenty of opportunities to go horse-riding in the area.
And those who just want to relax can take a dip by the pool. And if you really need a moment to yourself, why not make an appointment for a massage or beauty treatment…

🦋 Come and stroll through Cazères, pick up your little tour guide from our Cazères tourist information office (13 rue de la Case). Discover the town’s Jacquaire past and take a stroll along the banks of the Garonne. Here you’ll find the Maison Garonne, a must-see place to discover the history of the river and its influence on the town. Located on the site of a former boathouse, this venue offers exhibitions and other cultural activities throughout the year.
For the afternoon, there are several options. At the Cazères water sports centre, thrill-seekers can choose between wake-boarding, water-skiing and towed buoys. Those who prefer more leisurely activities can enjoy a trip on the water in a boat, pedalo or canoe.
And for those who haven’t done enough walking for their liking, we suggest a 1h30 loop around Le Plan, where you can discover the bastide town, half-timbered houses and many other curiosities, and of course the banks of the Volp.
