MANUEL PRATIQUE ET CHAOTIQUE DES DROITS DES FEMMES – FESTIVAL ” LES SEMEUSES”

Duration: 1½ to 2 hours
Suitable for all

Welcome to you all, a wonderful group of people keen to drive the struggle forward! Alice, part historian, part sports coach, welcomes you to explore this crucial question together: what remains to be done to advance the social struggle and women’s rights, and how?
A few clues: never give up, use humour, combine thought and imagination – it always pays off in the end… So, over the course of an hour, we’ll work together to put together a practical handbook for the struggle. A very down-to-earth handbook, and also a bit chaotic, because progress rarely comes about quietly. By retracing the turbulent history of women’s rights from the French Revolution to the present day, we will:
– reclaim our recent history and our great feminist figures (who are shockingly little known!!)
– take a fresh look at our legacy of gender relations
– relive the defining moments of this history
– organise actions
– ask ourselves what our next battles will be
– and perhaps even head out to a protest!
