Cambernard (Bernard’s “field”) is a hospitable village. The commune’s economy is based mainly on agriculture.
There are several châteaux in the commune, Pères and Huguerie, as well as the 17th and 18th century church of Notre-Dame de l’Assomption.
Every year since 1942, the Foyer Rural has put on a Whitsun show.
