A rural village at the summit of the Savès, Sajas invites you to explore its rolling countryside. The 12th-century church of Saint-Martin is at the heart of the village.
The village’s history is marked by that of Arnaud Duthil, “the false Martin Guerre”, born in Sajas in 1525 and made famous for having usurped the identity of Martin Guerre in Artigat in the summer of 1556 (La célèbre histoire du retour de Martin Guerre).
The Martin Guerre trail is available from the village.
