L’hôtel Sénat

The Sénat hotel, which closed in 1919, was the successor to an inn created by Raymond Laporte, a former soldier in Napoleon’s armies. This inn later became the Hôtel du Midi. A century of uninterrupted hotel tradition. From the 1900s onwards, the hotel gained a well-deserved reputation for its comfort (running water and electricity), the quality of its cuisine and its huge summer terrace overlooking the Hourride. It was highly recommended in 1911 by the famous Joanne guide, forerunner of the Guide Bleu.
