Boucle du Mandrat

1. Head east for 80m, then turn right onto the Route de Lahitère D86, walk along the left-hand side of the road for 800m, then turn left onto the Chemin des Aubuts to the end.

2. At the end of the path, turn left into rue de la Piche, then rue du Bout du Pré and rue des Ecoles (on the right is the oratory of the Virgin Mary) to join the D6. Cross the D6 at the pedestrian crossing, turn right (towards the village exit), stay on the pavement and after 150m, turn left onto the Bouhous bridge.

3. Cross the Volp, and 100m further on, leave the road and turn left again onto the grassy path that climbs up, following it to the end.

4. Turn left and walk down the Chemin de Castille.

5. 650m further on, turn right onto the pretty path that joins the Moutas cul-de-sac.

6. At the end of the path, turn left and walk along the Moutas cul-de-sac to the end.

7. At the crossroads, turn left and follow the route de Fabas D7G (take care on the bend) towards the centre of the village.

8. Go downhill and cross the D6 (be very careful and attentive before crossing), then turn left into rue Latour and then right towards the bastide, the church of Saint-Pierre and its bell tower, a listed historic monument.

9. Cross the Volp bridge to reach the church. In front of the church entrance, turn left towards the market hall. Walk along the market hall on your right and turn left, straight ahead towards the gateway to the fortified town, where you will find the starting point.
