1978

This show is a conversation with Milton Friedman, a neoliberal economist from the late
1970s. I was born in 1978! So I can talk about it – I was there! Milton was such an influential figure! And he
did have an impact! On my life, a huge one! He was a bit like my American uncle, actually! Uncle Milton!
So let’s start right from the beginning: baby bottles, the oil crisis, Mitterrand, my bright blue bike,
Bernard Arnault, … And the economic crises. And my own personal crises. The crisis expert did tell me to
talk about crises! Because it’s all psychonomics, really!
