The term “Huchier” refers to a craftsman skilled in making high-quality wooden furniture and objects. This workshop-museum pays tribute to him by presenting his work and skills to the public.
Visitors have the chance to enter the world of traditional craftsmanship, where every tool on display reveals the expertise and know-how that have marked previous generations. From meticulously sharpened saws to patiently handled planes. And the collection of tools that retraces the meticulous gestures needed to transform wood into functional works of art.

An authentic “Huchier” craftsman’s workshop-museum housed in an old cowshed and featuring a collection of tools used in woodworking in days gone by.
You can make a walnut chest (the Coffre de Pansette), a Limande (a small 17th-century cupboard), etc.
Another room is devoted to edible pottery, where you can discover ancient dournes, pans and other earthenware pots. This passion has led Mr Pébayle to exhibit his collection of Gascony, Midi Toulousain, Savès and other pottery from across the centuries.
