Boucle de Sarraute

1. Turn right onto the D626B. After 10 m, turn left after the bronze cross to take the road leading to the church. Discover the Gothic-style church of Saint-Pierre on the left and the 19th-century oratory dedicated to St John the Baptist on the other side.

2. Follow the road for around 2 km to the remains of the ‘château du haut’.

3. Turn left onto the dirt track and follow it for 600 m to reach the road at Mondous, above a farm. Cross the road and take the track on the right.

4. Walk for about 1.5 km and join the D23C. Leave the GR86 and turn left to join the D83. Walk for 100 m and turn right onto a dirt track towards the Sarraute woods. Follow the track. At the end of the wood turn left.

5. Continue straight on until you reach the junction. Turn left and follow the road for 2 km. Turn right into the village.

6. At the crossroads, turn left and walk past the war memorial, then turn right to return to the town hall square.
