Tour de Rieumes

1. At the roundabout, take the D28 towards Samatan. Take the 1st road on the left to continue towards La Prade. This tarmac track takes you as far as the hamlet of Gratecuq. Here you join the GR86.

2. Continue straight ahead on the GR86 to join the D58b.

3. At the crossroads, turn left onto the PR3. Cross the D3 and take the Chemin Marroule opposite.

4. At the end of the tarmac road, turn left onto a grassy path beside a field, then pass an electricity transformer substation and a housing estate until you reach the D58a.

5. Turn right onto the D58a for 600 m until you reach a ‘V’ junction at the Labourdette cross.

6. Turn left onto the track, first stony then tarmac, which takes you to Entole. At Entole, turn left in front of the cross and walk past the houses to reach the D7, which you follow to the right for 200 m.

7. Turn left onto Chemin des Vignes and follow it to the crossroads. Turn right and then right again (Boulevard des Vignes). Turn left onto rue Prosper Poncet, which climbs up and then drops down to rue du Carrey.

8. Cross the road and take the chemin de Lescouboué. Follow it to the bottom of the slope, turn right and follow the Chemin des Chênes. After a right-hand bend, take the track on the left. Pass alongside the water treatment plant.

9. Take the footbridge over the River Bure. 100 m further on, turn left onto the track. Follow the river as far as the D7.

10. Cross the D7 and take the small tarmac road opposite for 100 m.

11. Cross over to the left on the footbridge, walk along the cemetery and then up Rue Notre-Dame to reach the water tower.
