FERME DE GILET

Frédéric Dalies is a young farmer carrying on a long family tradition of cattle rearing in the Bure valley, the Touch valley and the Garonne terraces.
Frédéric has inherited his passion for cattle-breeding, and he puts it into practice by constantly improving the rearing conditions in a natural, wooded and unspoilt setting.
The herd of cattle, reared in optimum conditions for their well-being, is the result of many years of selection and cross-breeding, and is made up of several hardy and improving breeds. These are breeds renowned for their meat quality: Gasconne, Bazadaize, Blondes d’Aquitaine and Limousine. The farm’s natural meadows and cereal production are used directly to feed the herd.
Breeding is not the only activity at Ferme de Gilet, which has managed to diversify its activities by selling a significant proportion of its produce direct from the farm.
