DORIAN DUFFOURG / MARTRES-TOLOSANE

Dorian Duffourg is a local boy.

He has always been interested in history. He worked for many years as a seasonal employee at the archaeological museum. Later, he decided to go into tourism, and in particular the profession of guide-lecturer, in order to pass on his knowledge to the public. Following a number of training courses, he specialised in the history of ancient civilisations; freshly qualified as a tour guide, he grew and developed by passing on his passion.

An ambitious and determined entrepreneur, he will set up his own business, the fruit of his Individual Tutorial Project (ITP) in 2021. To promote his range of activities, Dorian wants to offer his services to the general public and develop them further. The dungeon, the Chiragan villa, the church of Saint-Vidian, the archaeological museum and the Martraise earthenware factory are already in his repertoire of visits. His ideas are bubbling over! He has already put together a number of themed tours, such as “Tour of the historic centre – from antiquity to the present day” or “Tour of the Martraise earthenware factory: between history, technique and craftsmanship”.

He also offers tailor-made guided tours for groups, and even a “Gourmet Excursion – Between Art and History”, to discover Martres-Tolosane.

Dorian already offered his guided tours of Martres-Tolosane last summer for groups, as well as individual, made-to-measure tours on request. He also took part in the Salon des Arts et du Feu, guiding visitors through the narrow streets of the village.
