La fontaine Saint-Paul

1. Turn left onto the D50 towards Sabonnères. Admire the Saint-Paul fountain on your left, from where you follow the road for 400 metres. Leave the Chemin de Lahage on your left, continue and turn right onto the grassy path between the fields.

2. After 200 metres, turn right along a line of oak trees to reach a small road. Cross the road and turn slightly left, behind the fence. Continue along behind the tennis court and church.

3. At the small road, turn right for 50 metres and then left onto the path. After 150 metres, turn right again at a large oak tree (q50). This brings you back to the GR86.

4. Turn left onto the D50 for 150 metres. Do not take the Chemin de l'Esperès and continue along the Route de Saint-Clar as far as the fire hydrant. Turn right onto the grassy path and follow it as far as the footbridge.

5. Go up into the woods. At the crossroads, turn left onto a small road.

6. Turn left. After a large downhill bend, go straight ahead and you will come to a crossroads where you can leave the GR86.

7. Cross a small cement bridge, then turn right onto the track that climbs up and enters the woods. Follow it to the right as far as the hamlet of Bourrassol.

8. At the next crossroads, turn right for around 100 metres. At the cisterns, turn right onto a track that leads to Lac de l'Espérès and runs below the dyke. Drive past the Beaufort stud farm.

9. When you reach a small road, turn right for 10 metres and then left. Continue along the track opposite.

10. Return to the route de Saint-Clar. Turn left as far as the town hall.
