From restoring ceramic works of art to creating them, Claire’s story is a journey, just as her collection of black stoneware and porcelain jewellery is today. In her studio-boutique in Vincennes, she relishes the pleasure of knitting clay threads to bring her collections to life. From necklaces constructed from interwoven geometric shapes, she extrapolates the motif to create a corset. In this way, she opens up the world of textiles and wraps the body in surprising volumes. She pushes back the boundaries of ceramics, of this fragile material that tinkles delicately. Today, the desire for colour has taken over and she has become a chemist, working on new ways of decorating her creations as well as on a collection of bag necklaces to be filled with secrets… Story to be continued…
